Collection on display
at The National Sports Collectors Convention
Our Mission
Plain and simple, we love old baseball and we want to
share our private collection of rare baseball artifacts
with others who have the same passion for the sport as we
have ourselves.

Our Collection
Since 1989, Baseball
Antiquities Ltd. has helped fellow collectors find authentic
antiquities related to vintage baseball. Over the years
we have accumulated an eclectic collection of rare
baseball artifacts including cards, photographs, bats,
balls, gloves, uniforms, advertising items, stamps, and
so much more. Limited items from our private collection
are available, as well as limited edition
photographs of Hall of Fame players taken in 1915. We
believe you will find these photographs to be very unique
and quite astonishing.
Our History
We are a family owned and operated business based in
Boston, Massachusetts. As collectors, we have personally
amassed a collection of baseball related items since
childhood in the 1950's. We have been season ticket
holders at Fenway Park since 1978 and had been going to Boston Red Sox games long before
that. Today, we share our private collections with others
in the hope that baseball's fantastic history will live
on for years to come.
Contact Us
Please feel free to contact us with any questions
related to our collection, or if you are looking for
something specific we may be able to help.

Museum of Fine Arts, Boston presents
Rockwell and the Red Sox
"Rockwell and the Red Sox" honors
Opening Day of the World Champion Boston Red Sox season.
The display centers on The Rookie by beloved American
artist Norman Rockwell. This famous painting, briefly on
loan to the Museum and rarely seen in Boston, depicts the
Red Sox locker room in 1957. The image appeared that year
on the cover of The Saturday Evening Post.
To complement The Rookie, a special selection of Red Sox
memorabilia has been lent by the National Baseball Hall
of Fame and Museum in Cooperstown, Bostons Sports
Museum of New England, the Boston Public Library
(Baseball Antiquities), and the Boston Red Sox. From
images of the nearby Huntington Avenue Groundswhere
Boston played ball a century agoto Ted
Williamss locker and jerseys worn by Cy Young and
Carl Yastrzemski, these celebrated artifacts attest to
the rich tradition of Bostons baseball heroes.
(April 5 - June 19, 2005)
A portion of our
proceeds is donated to several New England
charities, including the Red Sox
Foundation
This is just a small portion of
our complete collection. We encourage you to
inquire if you have questions.
